Love Letters from Heaven: How Belief Unlocks Divine Communication.

Imagine Jesus as a pen pal who constantly reaches out to us—not through letters, but through our hearts, His Bible, and the world around us. It’s like receiving a love letter, but one many of us overlook. Whether we realize it or not, we’ve all communicated with God at some point in our lives. This connection goes beyond what we can fully understand. God speaks to us through nature, our thoughts, emotions, and our innermost selves.

"For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." (Romans 1:20)

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." (Hebrews 11:6)

Many might be surprised at how much God is trying to communicate, but we often miss it, mostly because we struggle to believe He’s really there. When we do believe, something changes within us. That belief sparks a desire to connect with God, to dive into His Word, and to chase after qualities like love, humility, patience, peace, and righteousness. As we pursue God, our souls are transformed, and our minds are renewed, making us new creations in Christ.

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." (Romans 12:2)

But without belief, it’s hard to feel God’s presence or recognize how He communicates with us in supernatural ways. Belief is the key that opens the door to a real relationship with God. Think about it like this: if you were in a room with someone who completely ignored your existence, communication wouldn’t happen. The same goes for God—He’s always present in our hearts, souls, and minds, but many of us lack the belief or openness needed to truly hear from Him.

"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me." (Revelation 3:20)

Belief opens the door to let God in.
